Torrey Pines consists of two picturesque 18-hole golf courses, the North Course and the South Course, set on the cliffs of La Jolla, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Along with fabulous golf, the facility offers one of the largest on-course golf shops in the nation, advance golf reservations, expert instruction, and a double sided driving range. The Torrey Pines complex was designed and built by Billy Bell in the 1950's and plays host to the PGA'S BUICK INVITATIONAL and hosted the 2008 U.S. Open.

Torrey Pines Golf Course. The name itself stirs the imagination of golf enthusiasts all over the world. Situated atop cliffs towering above the Pacific Ocean in San Diego, California, golfers marvel at the views of the coastline and deep ravines. Nature lovers can spot wildlife and the famous Torrey Pines trees that are indigenous to San Diego area.

Torrey Pines Golf Course, long recognized as one of the nation's foremost municipal golf facilities, is truly a "golfer's paradise". Bounded by mountains to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the west, the seaside golf courses are often swept by sunshine or by rain, fog, and chilling winds.

Recently renovated, the Torrey Pines South Course boasts dramatic coastline views as well as some of the most challenging golf in the country. In 2001, renowned golf course designer Rees Jones set his signature upon the course and the accolades on his work have not stopped since. Rees has added his own personal touches, in order to create a championship level of golf. Now, 7,607 tremendous yards in length, the Torrey Pines South Course will host the 2008 United States Open Championship. Torrey Pines North Course, schedule for renovation in 2005, is one of the most scenic golf courses on the California coastline. Several holes on the North Course are situated high atop the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean yet less expensive than Torrey Pines South Course. Many golfers think the North course boasts better views but it is fact that the North Course will not be as challenging as Torrey Pine's South Course.

Tee times - non-refundable

Showtime Golf has the ability to book you onto the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Course, host of the 2008 U.S. Open, up to 90-days in advance (if availability warrants)!

Option #1: 7-day Lottery System for residents with resident ID only (non-residents are limited to "advanced" reservations only)

Option #2: 90-day Advanced Reservation (available to residents and non-residents) Showtime Golf will act as your liaison with the city of San Diego parks and recreation department to coordinate tee times for anywhere from 1 to 12 players. Times are very limited (7 per course per day) and availability can take up to 72 hours to acquire, but both North and South courses can be booked through this process.

A $25 non-refundable deposit/reservation fee will be assessed from Showtime Golf for both residents and non-residents and a $39 non-resident/$28 resident non-refundable deposit/reservation fee from the city of San Diego. The green fee (carts and rental clubs are optional) will be charged at the golf course upon check-in. If you are unable to make your tee time, no further money will be owed other than the before mentioned non-refundable deposit/reservation fees.

Pricing does not include the deposit/reservation fees ($51 residents/$62 non-residents).

Torrey Pines is the only course that we charge a deposit/reservation fee. Our service is complimentary at all the other fine courses in San Diego and most have quite a bit of availability throughout the week. It is best to have a second option in case Torrey Pines doesn't work out.
