Aviara Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Thank you for making my recent golf vacation most enjoyable. Both of you went out of your way to make my initial experience with Showtime Golf a wonderful experience. I look forward to working with you again in the near future. Golfing at Torrey Pines was a real treat but Aviara was just as you described...exceptional. The friendly staff at Aviara made the day that much better. Again, my many thanks to both of you for making the golf trip memorable for both my sons and me.
- Charlie Gregory

I've played some good courses, but this track was unbelievable! Thanks Showtime, I'll be back. Heading to Las Vegas in the fall, I'll want something like Aviara each day. Playing 3 days, thanks.
- John S., Madison, WI

Excellent! The golf course was in exceptional shape when we played, and the service, along with the food in the restaurant met our expectations. The food, the course, and the views were all A+.
- Lester B.

WOW!! What can I say - the course was absolutely beautiful. Our group did not stop talking about it for days. Also, a BIG thank you to the staff - very courteous and helpful through our late arrival. We had a great day. Again, THANK YOU!!!
- Connie H., Tempe, AZ

While in town I used your service for 5 days. Although I played a number of courses, Maderas and Aviara were by far my favorite. Thanks for setting everything up. You saved me time and I thought your recommendations were right on. Thanks again, expect me to call again on my next visit.
- Patrick R., Salt Lake City, UT

What a course. The water features and flowers were breathtaking. Guess California in May is a great time to visit. Thanks for your help, everything worked out well for us.

Played Arrowood on Sunday and thought it was a great value. Surprised what good condition it was in for being open only a year. Thanks.

Carlton Oaks Country Club reviews

I played here while on vacation last week and I had the first tee time at 7:03am...The starter let us out a little earlier. We played 18 holes in 3+ hours (twosome)! It was my first time playing here and I can say that it is worth $55 green fee (weekday).

Carmel Mountain Ranch reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

The course itself was in great shape and was a good challenge for all of us. Beautiful clubhouse! Fun round even though we got stuck behind a few slower players. Thanks!
- Richie C., Freedom, PA

Carmel Mtn. surprised me. I wasn't going to play golf on the trip, but saw your flyer and thought I'd play while my wife was at a conference. I booked it the day before and scored one of my best rounds despite the tight fairways and long carries (and their rentals). I'll bring my own clubs next time and play there again! thanks for the recommendation.

CrossCreek Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Cross Creek was an absolute pleasure to play. You couldn't ask for a nicer setting and the staff was top notch from the head pro down. The greens rolled fast and true when we played there in August of this year.
- Mike M., Alberta, Canada

The finest course in San Diego in my opinion. Underpriced for the experience.
- Tom S.

This course is in such perfect shape that I won't be able to get a tee time pretty soon.
- Ken A., Riverside, CA

This course is incredible with beautiful scenery. It helps to hit 'em straight at Crosscreek or you may need to pack an extra sleeve of balls. Well maintained and super-fun.
- Brent W., San Diego, CA

Take a LOT of balls with you. It's not called crosscreek for nothing!
- Peter F., El Cajon, CA

Eagle Crest Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

First time at this venue. Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were running about 9 and very smooth and true. Fairways were in good shape and rough was OK. Some sand traps were pretty solid and some were fluffy. Some of the tee boxes needed a little cleaning up but not too bad. The only problem here was the heat. The staff was friendly and helpful. Did not see any Marshals, and on a Sunday, thatâ€(tm)s unusual. We played 18 in four hours, ten minutes. I will play this again when it cools down.
- Gerry M, San Clemente, CA

I had never heard of this course, but it was just what I was looking for with my limited budget. I had a good time and wish I had a course like this at home. Thanks again!
- Matt B., NM

Don't be fooled by the low price, this is a fun course to play. Great practice facilities too.
- Brandon H., Santa Barbara, CA

EastLake Country Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

I wasn't expecting much because of the low price but I was wrong. I'd never heard of this course before but it was a great suggestion and fitted my needs perfectly. I'll use your service again.
Roger D., Los Angeles, CA

Shorter course that required you to make "good golf shots." Lots of OB on every hole. Trickier than I thought it would be.
- Erin F., Powhatan, VA

Not too challenging, but a fun course. Not a lot of distance, so you can score if you're hitting well. Has a fun par 3 over the water hole on the back nine, and some fun par 4's where you're hitting off elevated tees.
- James L., San Onofre, CA

Fast play, good price. Course is decent, but a little short..
- Travis E., New York, New York

Just a note to thank you for all your efforts on our behalf. The course turned out to meet everyoneís expectations! I thought it was very beautifully maintained. It went off without a hitch and a good time was had by all!
- Roy, Peoria, IL

An ideal course for an average golfer like myself, stress-free with some sweet canyon views. I actually enjoy golf again!

La Costa Resort and Spa reviews

Was a fun day for golf. I think it looks a little nicer on TV, but we had fun. Thanks for setting up all the tee times for us.
-Leon F., Kingsville, TX

We played right before the Accenture Match Play Championship. The course was in amazing shape. I don't know how the Pro's do it. I recommend playing this course while it's still tough!

Maderas Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Couldn't believe it was a public course. Very challenging, I had to trust myself on a lot of shots. Thanks Ryan for the recommendation!
- Gary J., Memphis, TN

What a course! Thanks for the recommendation. Maderas may be one of the nicest courses I have ever played. Nice break from the snow that's for sure. - Tom A., Boulder, CO

I have to golf this course again the next time I'm in San Diego! It's long, It's difficult, Gigantic greens. I personally liked the forced carries off the tees on some of the holes. The course was in excellent shape, and the greens rolled smooth. There is a 230 yard par 3 off an elevated tee on the back nine that's a real challenge.
- Rex S., Palm Springs, CA

Maderas was a great choice...what a track...
- Anthony Z., Miami, FL

Couldn't believe the great shape the course was in. I had high expectations before playing and Maderas lived up to all of them. This will be my first choice on my next golf trip.
- Jacob R., Palm Desert, CA

Played Steel Canyon and Maderas on my last trip to San Diego. Thought they were great and well worth the money. I'd say Maderas is a step above, but good for 2 different price points.
- John B.

While in town I used your service for 5 days. Although I played a number of courses, Maderas and Aviara were by far my favorite. Thanks for setting everything up. You saved me time and I thought your recommendations were right on. Thanks again, expect me to call again on my next visit.

Mt Woodson Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

What an escape! Excellent course conditions and was a very peaceful round. Worth every penny. Thanks guys!
- Brian P., San Jose, CA

What a gem! It was a drive to get there but well worth it especially for the price. If this course was closer to the heart of the city I could see it being one of the most popular.
-Janice G., Indio, CA

What a neat, fun, & beautiful course. The most unique course I have ever played in San Diego! Loved it -two thumbs up!
Don H., Phoenix, AZ

We stayed in Escondido, and decided to play Mt. Woodson because it was reasonably close to our hotel. This course is kind of out of the way, but it was a pleasant playing experience. Mt Woodson was very hilly, with big drop offs on some of the holes and it offered some really nice views of the surrounding area. I would play it again.
- John B., Albuquerque, NM

Mt. Woodson is a great challenging course. Not very long but you must hit the ball straight to score well. The course was in great shape. The scenery is beautiful!

Rancho Bernardo Inn reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Course was nice, not too difficult, 18th hole makes for a tough finish, uphill to the green. Pretty good restaurant next to the pro shop.
- George D., Huntsville, AL

A "thinking man's" course, that presented a good challenge from the tips. Play smart b/c it gets kinda tight on a few holes. Thumbs up!
- Jerry H, Altoona, PA

I had never heard of Rancho Bernardo Inn, but it turned out to be a great recommendation. It was a great layout and a bargain. I look forward to playing it again when I come back to San Diego.

Riverwalk Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

I had the opportunity to play all three nines (Mission, Presidio, and Friars) with Mission being the most well rounded. Mission 3 was a beautiful signature hole, and believe it or not I was happy to leave with a double on Mission 9. Presidio and Friars both had their challenges yet were forgiving at the same time. Easy to get to course and I can't wait to come back!
- Thomas G., La Quinta, CA

Really close to our hotel in downtown, and a decent play. Lots of shopping near the course so I dropped off my wife and daughter and played while they shopped. Met them for dinner afterwards at a nearby restaurant.
- Art Madsen, Rochester, NY

Pretty standard course, but most of the other courses were either too far from the airport or were booked. I'm from the East Coast and hadn't golfed in 4 months, so the big practice facility was a plus. Took a cab to the course and back to my hotel, and it wasn't too pricey.

Salt Creek (Formerly The Auld Course) reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Very nostalgic feel to the course. Beautiful shades of greens and browns. All around enjoyable experience and we'll be sure to use you guys when we're in town again!
- Steve A., Minneapolis, MN

Nice Course, hilly. Greens are big, a lot of fairways canted to the left or right. Greens were in good shape too. Had a nice practice facility which helped me before I hit the course.
- Mike L., Oswego, IL

Great layout! Fun, challenging course with a small taste of Scotland...

Steele Canyon Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Everything went great. We had a great time at Steele Canyon. The course was great, challenging and we all had fun. Thanks again for setting that up. Yes, I just got - Michael W., Chicago, IL

This course was a gem. The price was lower than I expected during the week so I thought it wasn't going to be that great. I was wrong! One of the best courses in SD.
Carlos M, Fresno, CA

Thank you Showtime for recommending this course. Unbelievable elevation and the views were breathtaking. I haven't been this impressed with a course in a while. Thanks Again!
- Jess H., Grass Valley, CA

The course was about a half hour away from my hotel, but its definitely worth driving to, with nice views. Its a rolling course and has some fun elevated tees. The course has 27 holes, and each 9 is a little different. The Canyon course was the hardest, but also the most fun.
- Charles P., St. Louis, MO

Played Steel Canyon and Maderas on my last trip to San Diego. Thought they were great and well worth the money. I'd say Maderas is a step above, but good for 2 different price points.
- John B.

Perfect recommendation for my wife and I. Liked the elevation changes. Thanks.
- John & Cindy T., Largo, FL

The course is fun, very visually attractive but kind of a bear without having played it before. Many blind shots and we even had trouble finding a couple of the back tees!!
- Mike D., Arlington, Virginia

Sycuan Golf Resort reviews (formerly Singing Hills)

Post a Review Book a tee time

Very reasonable and fun course. Not super-long from the middle tees but has several dogleg holes as well as some pretty tight fairways. I got a golf lesson, played 18 holes, then hit the casino right down the road for some blackjack. Does it get any better?
- Norman Z

Great track, loved the views, and the friendly staff!
- Dan S.

Fun course, so much to do and see out in that area.....thx for the recommendation.

Temecula Creek Inn reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Course is up north of San Diego and is attached to a resort in Temecula. Has all the amenities; decent pro shop, restaurant, etc. Comfortable laid back atmosphere, not too stuffy. The fist nine holes I played was flat, but the second was all up and down. Lost a few balls.

Torrey Pines Golf Club reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

We had a great round, started at 3:45 pm on a Sunday afternoon...the only drawback was having to play behind locals, two riding, two walking, that didn't care if they finished 18 or not...it looked like a driving range off most of the tee boxes with them hitting multiple tee shots. We didn't see a marshall all day to enforce the speed of play. I was really disappointed with these locals. If that's representative of the locals they shouldn't be allowed on the course.
- David S., Coppell, Texas

Cory thanks for helping us have a wonderful time at torrey pine. It's an experience I'll never forget. We'll hook up again for next year booking.
- Derwin McGILL

Worth the money. You can tell it's a municipal course, but the experience was worth it. I'll be watching the Buick in January and compare my shots with the pro's now.
- Tim R., Santa Rosa, CA

Been trying to play Torrey with my 2 sons for years now and haven't been able to until I called you guys. Thanks a million, we had a blast!
- Charlie M., Grand Rapids, MI

My husband wouldn't stop talking about the course. I think he played south (more expensive one). Wasn't in great shape when he played but he didn't even care. Thanks for helping us out.
- Sally M. Mincie, IN

I liked the Ocean views, and the greens were good. It was challenging, but fun. Some unique holes, and the box lunch we got at the restaurant was good.
- Jorge D., Matamoros, Mexico

Torrey Pines golf Course is only 20 minutes from downtown and is right by the beaches. I enjoyed the ocean views, but it took almost 5 hours to play. Went to the city of La Jolla after golf, What a nice place!
- Marie S., Phoenix, AZ

I really appreciate all the help you gave us. The group thoroughly enjoyed their golf game at Torrey Pines. Many said they probably will never have that experience again.

Twin Oaks Golf Club reviews

Played a round with my son while we were staying over in Carlsbad (approx 15 min drive). Very affordable yet challenging course that had both open and target-oriented holes. We were both very pleased with the recommendation. Thx!
Marc S, Seattle, WA

Nice track. A little more challenging than I would have thought. Good value as well, thx.

The Vineyard at Escondido reviews

Post a Review Book a tee time

Very friendly staff who were very informative about the course. The greens appeared quite yet were suprisingly quick with some unexpected breaks. I caught myself "being a tourist" by admiring the different scenery around both the front and back nine. The course seemed short yet I used every club in my bag at least once.
- Anthony O., Bermuda Dunes, CA

The course is right next to the Orfila winery that you can tour after you play. Plenty of Mountain views, and a lot of water. Good golf at a good rate, and it has a nice clubhouse where you can do lunch. Golf early because it gets pretty hot by midday.
- Donald H., Sacramento, CA

I really enjoyed this course. It offers challenging holes that will test you. Above all, I think their staff is what really made my experience enjoyable. Recently, I entertained a client at The Vineyard and the staff in the pro shop and in the restaurant helped make it successful outing.
- Walker M., San Diego, CA

Enjoyable course. Pace of play slow but the views made up for the pace. Definitely on the list to replay.
